Festival Encalma - Ferran Palau + Júlia Collado

Third edition of the Encalma Festival: a cycle of intimate concerts at the Teatro La Biblioteca where the distance between the audience and the stage becomes practically non-existent. The drive of its curators, Alguer Miquel and Alex Torrens, made us fall in love from the first moment.

After the good experience of the last two years, this edition will once again have young emerging proposals and more consolidated proposals, which will excite us and make us enjoy the Teatre la Biblioteca in a different way than we are used to.

FERRAN PALAU

After almost two years away from the stage, Ferran Palau has published “Plora Aquí”, his new album. This new work, where the author takes us into an organic universe impregnated with nostalgia for the “monsters” of the past, adds to an impressive musical legacy with titles such as “Joia” (2021), “Parc” (2021), “Kevin” (2019), “Blanc” (2018), “Santa Ferida” (2015), and “L’Aigua del Rierol” (2012), in addition to the single “Cel Clar”.

At the Encalma Festival we will enjoy a unique concert, with voice and guitar, in a unique space such as the Teatro la Biblioteca de La Perla29.

JÚLIA COLLADO RIU

Júlia Collado Riu will open the Encalma stage presenting her new work "Z numero complejo", just published this November.

His new album is an experimental pop work that is born from a personal challenge of the artist to leave his comfort zone. With a journey between darkness and light, Julia captures these sensations in each song. In addition, for the first time, he has decided to use Catalan, his mother tongue, in the search for a genuine and faithful expression. This album marks a before and after in its musical path, undreaming it emotionally and allowing it to be recognized more honestly than ever.

At the Encalma Festival, Júlia Collado will open Ferran Palau’s concert with a small concert in an intimate and magical space.
