Celebrating the 10th edition of the Festival, the proposal lands in Barcelona, ??in the Raval, with the complicity of La Perla 29, which adheres to the project and makes the Biblioteca de Catalunya the Festival's headquarters. The Teatre Romea, the CCCB, the Filmoteca de Catalunya, the Central del Raval, the Horiginal and the Massana school, among other entities in the neighborhood, are also joining the initiative.??
This 10th edition takes place in a context that calls for great adaptability. The launch of the new format, this "Shakespeare in the Raval", has the great potential of the complicity of organizations and entities, but at the same time it cannot escape the situation that culture and art in general are experiencing at the moment.
The Festival is presented as a mosaic through which the constant presence of Shakespeare in our cultural environment is shown. Beyond the specific circumstances of the context and the creators, it is common to find it in the work of our artists. With different readings and perspectives, Shakespeare always opens up new points of view and new views on reality.??
