Synopsis

The Misanthrope is truly an endearing character who confronts what he finds insufferably false: our society. He is a rabid character, romantic, childish, a little bitter, different, honest, incorruptible... And he becomes a stereotype of the misunderstood who mainly declares himself against men: he is against man. Against this social man, with a mask, fake and self-interested.

The theater is a game of masks. And the character of the Misanthrope fights against these. He decides to withdraw voluntarily from society and protests with this masked dance. But be warned : it's not happy. And here comes the tragedy. The Misanthrope is not happy. There is, of course, a love that binds him inescapably to what he hates the most: frivolity, compliments, the seduction of the banal, ribbons and bows. The misanthrope is therefore the outsider. If the character is like that, so are we.
