Synopsis

Timo is a rich and powerful citizen, the center of the city's social life. Senators, bankers, and artists attend his parties. He is a great friend, generous, and a patron of the arts. However, when things start going wrong due to disastrous administration, he asks for help from his friends, but they turn their backs on him.

From that moment on, his generosity turns into rage and hatred, not only towards those who didn't help him but also against society as a whole. He decides to exile himself from the city and live on the fringes of everything and everyone.

But, ironically, while tilling the land of his new home in search of food, he finds a briefcase full of gold. The news of his unexpected wealth reaches the ears of his former friends, who waste no time in coming to enjoy his new fortune. This time, however, Timo will seize the opportunity to tell them what he really thinks of them and the society they live in.
