This proposal by Ferran Utzet introduces us to the figure of the playwright, actor, and director Ivan Viripaev (Siberia, 1974), one of the most prominent and essential figures in the new Russian theater and the European scene, making his first appearance in Catalonia. The play expresses the profound desire to find meaning in love and freedom; it transports us to our own unanswered questions.
This is a story that takes place between New York and Berlin. Charlie, Monica, Amy, and Kryštof are between thirty and forty years old and feel trapped in a life that does not satisfy them. Desperate, they will embark on a journey to hell to escape a void they do not know how to overcome. Guided by a mysterious voice, their stories will intertwine and they will try to learn what it means to be alive.
A fantastical and raw fable by Ivan Viripàiev, one of the most original voices in contemporary theater, presented for the first time in Catalonia.
