Synopsis

Bodas de sangre talks about the big themes: life, death and love, based on customs, traditions and symbolism. It is about those major forces and vital impulses that push the characters to tragedy.

We consider Lorca's text as a great poem full of rhythm and musicality - with original compositions by Joan Garriga. A series of scenes, entrances and exits where actors, actresses, characters and music intertwine to give life to the bride, the groom, Leonardo, the mother... All with an Andalusian air and tinted by the dry and white landscape and by the blood that flows.
