L'Albada, a three-way conversation

In the middle of rehearsals and staging, we invite you to a three-way conversation between Jaume Viñas, Oriol Broggi and Patrícia Bargalló. A meeting between the author of the play (who also performs in it), the director, and one of the actresses in this large company of 11 performers. We want to open up the dialogue we have been having these days about the text and the production. An opportunity to pause for a moment in the middle of the process and reflect on how the conversation unfolds between these three creative imaginaries that come together, each from their own place and perspective, to work on such a living text: L'Albada.

What has the initial work between the author and the director been like? How is the material being transformed in the rehearsal room when the company joins in? How are we approaching the proposals and the compromises regarding text and staging? We invite you to delve into the encounter of these three theatrical languages, three contributions within a single process. We are creating a shared, fictional world by adding layer upon layer, and we have wanted this meeting with the audience to become part of the process, at a stage of creation that usually happens behind closed doors. A moment between creation and reception, like a mirror that allows us to think halfway between the process and the work. And to take the opportunity, why not, to reflect on what we do not have time to say to each other in the rehearsal room.
