Questi fantasmi

from Eduardo De Filippo, Direction by Oriol Broggi

Data
From 06.21.2010 to 07.25.2010
Duration
1h 35min

Eduardo De Filippo's comedies always start off cheerful and entertaining, but without us realizing it, the situations they present end up leading us to tragic situations that reveal universal truths. This journey from comedy to tragedy is one of the jewels of theater, and bringing it to the audience is both a challenge and a delight for actors and for a company like ours.

Synopsis

Pasquale and Maria move to an old building where they won't have to pay rent, just endure the company of the supposed ghosts that inhabit it. The existence of these ghosts will be the perfect excuse for the porter of the estate to quietly steal and for Maria's lover to come in and out of his air.

A funny and at the same time sour comedy by Eduardo De Filippo that gives Neapolitan and Catalan actors the opportunity to work together and share their respective theatrical traditions, their different gestures and intonations... and also their mother tongues, since the montage they use both Catalan and Italian, with some touches of Neapolitan. A theatrical production that goes beyond any border.
